I recently spent the morning at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. This is one of my very favorite places in the city. Most recently the gardens are hosting an exhibit by Dale Chihuly, an amazing glass blowing artist. If you live in the Atlanta area, please make sometime to see this gorgeous exhibit! It really did blow my mind! I love plants and flowers so I cannot wait for my next wander around the botanical gardens.
Susana and Preston are getting married, and I cannot wait! I am so excited to be a part of their special day. We decided to shoot their engagement session in East Atlanta Village because this is their hood! I love engagement sessions. It gives me a chance to get to know my couples better and really start to see their connection to each other. The thing I immediately picked up on with Susana and Preston, is that they are so in love!!! The next thing that was all too apparent is that these two are best friends and partners in this journey already. We had such a blast, ending at the Argosy for beers, which is one of their favorite places and one of mine. I just know their wedding will be an amazing event!
It has been such a privilege to watch and capture this family as they grow throughout the years. I cannot believe this little handsome man is already 6 months old! How did that happen? Wasn’t it just yesterday that we took Samantha’s maternity photos? Mr Henry was a dream to work with, and did a great job sitting up all on his own. I cannot wait to see what kind of man he grows up to be. With parents like Lee and Samantha, I’m sure he’ll be a very kind and thoughtful person!
Salinger Dean joined his family this January. He is such a sweet sweet baby boy! Lynne, Shane, and Teddy welcomed him with so much love into their adorable family! I cannot wait to watch this little boy grow and thrive. Congratulations Lynne, Shane, and Teddy on your newest addition! He really is precious!
Every year, around the holidays, I take pictures of my nieces and nephews. It is always a bit of a ridiculous time, and there is almost always a tear or two, a bit of sibling arguing, and tons and tons of laughter. It is so fun to watch these loves of mine grow through out the years. I always feel so privileged to be their Aunt Bets. Love them all!
