Sometimes you plan a trip to the mountains in the fall to visit with family, and you imagine all of the things you will do. Go hiking, make fires outside at night, bum around downtown Asheville.  Then it rains all weekend.  Torrential downpour rains! And so most of those plans fall by the wayside.  It doesn’t matter though because you still get to spend time with some of your favorite people in the world. Then an hour before you have to pack up and head home, the rain stops and so you jump in the car and head to the pumpkin patch.  Great weekend, even if not what I had imagined!
